I knew very little about Lionel Messi prior to reading this book. Now, I learned about how great of a player he was and how he got to that level. The author does a good job of keeping the timeline of his life in order while tying in his achievements along the way without making the reader get lost.

The writing had me gripped from the first chapter. The language is lucid and flowy. The author's writing style is also very unique and captivating. I finished the book in four sittings.

I like how it really points out that he is one of the best, not because of raw natural talent, but hard work and dedication. Overall, I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone interested in the life of the athlete.

“You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and work hard for it.” – Lionel Messi
